WE MUST FIND CONSENSUS

America’s problems are too serious and too difficult to solve by simply arguing with one another.

Finding consensus is not optional. We must find it.

We don’t pretend that this small group of Americans can fix America’s problems. Our sphere of influence is tiny. But we are a microcosm of the larger society. If Americans with different political perspectives can learn to listen to one another, reason together, and find common ground here, we can demonstrate that consensus is possible.

Someone needs to show that it can be done. So let it be us.
